Young Joon Kim

I am an incoming medical student at Harvard Medical School and a masters student at the University of Cambridge studying computational neuroscience on a Marshall Scholarship. I am currently developing computational models for dendrites' contributions to neuronal input-output with Dr. Mate Lengyel.

I earned my B.A. in Biology and Concentration in Statistics from Columbia University in 2020. There, I also conducted research on neural encoding and decoding with Dr. Liam Paninski. Previously, I have conduted leukemia therapeutics research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
